It’s good to be a nerd right now. Those of us with a great love of comics have never had it better. Comics are officially mainstream. They are a billion dollar industry with television shows, and movies breaking records left and right. The stars of these movies and television shows are everywhere, especially social media. Twitter has brought a whole new experience to watching these shows and movies. Directors are releasing tons of behind the scenes photos and stories on their social media accounts, the stars live tweet and interact with viewers throughout every episode. I greatly enjoy this, and for the first time, we have interactive television. Directors and writers are incorporating fan theories and ideas into their work. It’s a great time to be a nerd.
